President’s Corner: August 2025 SITREP

Building for Those Who Built This Nation

As August arrives, America finds itself facing a dual reality: record federal investment in veterans’ services under this administration, and rising visible need across our communities, from San Diego to Sonoma. The federal government has reaffirmed its commitment to our nation’s heroes. Now it’s time for bold, local leadership to match that commitment with execution.

Momentum in Washington; Urgency at Home

The White House and Department of Veterans Affairs have taken decisive action this summer, launching new mental health initiatives, expanding housing vouchers, and fast-tracking support for veterans facing homelessness. These programs are vital, but they are only as effective as the communities prepared to receive and activate them.

That’s where Valor Haven Estates steps in.

We are building the first-of-its-kind trauma-informed, veteran-led reintegration campus in Northern California, not just to serve veterans, but to honor them with real opportunity.

A Local Solution with National Implications

Valor Haven Estates is more than a development. It is an ecosystem of healing and productivity:

  • 300+ housing units

  • A 500-acre Vertex⁴-powered hydroponics farm

  • Emergency response capabilities integrated into the landscape

  • A trauma-informed vocational and mental health center

  • Sustainable infrastructure to outlast the next fire, flood, or fiscal cliff

Our land use team continues negotiations this month in Sonoma County, with direct input from state officials and veteran stakeholders. Our mission is clear: establish a replicable, self-sustaining model that any state or nation can adopt.

Operational Deployment: Vertex⁴ in Motion

This month, we submitted pre-development site data for our first Vertex⁴ hydroponics installation, a 25-acre unit rated for year-round yield and climate resilience. As the exclusive U.S. master distributor for Orgil-Profiline, our greenhouse systems are now being evaluated by multiple municipalities and tribal nations as part of their economic recovery and food sovereignty initiatives.

These systems are not just farm infrastructure; they are job creators, emergency response assets, and the backbone of the Valor Haven food supply.

Disaster Season Has Already Begun

As California continues to experience heat waves, rolling blackouts, and the earliest wildfire evacuations in five years, we remain committed to the role Valor Haven Estates will play in regional stability. Our approach is rooted in self-reliance: power, food, security, and workforce, all led by those who know how to operate under pressure.

Veterans Deserve More Than Lip Service

While national headlines highlight new VA funding and public-private partnerships, it’s critical to remember: none of that matters without execution at the ground level.

Veterans don’t need another pilot program. They need a place to live, a place to heal, and a mission to continue.

That’s what Valor Haven offers. And it’s why we’re not waiting.

Call to Action

If you are a stakeholder, investor, or official reading this, we’re not asking for permission. We’re asking for a partnership.

This is the moment to align. Not because it’s convenient, but because it’s overdue.

Let’s lead where others delay. Let’s build where others debate.

Together, we can transform the future for those who protected our past.

In strength and resolve,

Sean Correa
President
